Redreach works in ChatGPT on Plus and above. There are two ways in depending on your plan, and both end up in the same place. Pick whichever matches what you see in your account.
If you are on Plus
Step 1: Open the Plugins page
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and click the + button. The New Plugin dialog opens.
Step 2: Fill it in
Leave Connection set to Server URL, then enter:
Field | Value |
Name | Redreach |
Server URL | https://connect.redreach.ai/mcp |
Step 3: Create it
Keep Authentication on OAuth, tick "I understand and want to continue", and hit Create.
A browser window opens on Redreach. Sign in if you are not already, click Approve, and you are connected.
That risk warning is ChatGPT's standard notice for any server OpenAI has not reviewed, not a sign that something is wrong. Redreach only reads your own Redreach data. It can never post to Reddit or change your account.
If you are on Pro or Business
Step 1: Turn on Developer mode
Go to Settings → Connectors. Under Advanced, toggle Developer mode on.
Step 2: Create the connector
Click Create and fill it in:
Field | Value |
Name | Redreach |
MCP Server URL | https://connect.redreach.ai/mcp |
Step 3: Approve it
Leave Authentication on OAuth, and select it if it is not already chosen. Submit the form.
A browser window opens on Redreach. Sign in if needed, click Approve, and you are connected.
The Plus route above works on Pro and Business too. Developer mode is simply the official path, and it adds team-sharing controls. Use whichever you find first.
Turn it on in a chat
This step catches people out. Unlike Claude, ChatGPT does not use a connector until you enable it for the conversation.
- Start a chat
- Open the + (tools) menu
- Enable the Redreach connector
- Ask: "List my Redreach projects"
If your projects come back, you are set.
Adding the Redreach logo
Both dialogs have an optional Icon field. You can download the Redreach icon from the MCP setup page and drop it in, so the connector is easy to spot in a long list.
Entirely cosmetic, and it changes nothing about how the connection works.
What's next?
→ Next: What you can ask Redreach in your AI assistant for prompts that work.
Something not working? See Fixing a Redreach MCP connection that won't work. The most common ChatGPT-specific issue is forgetting to enable the connector in the + (tools) menu.
