Every Reddit opportunity in Redreach can be marked with one of three statuses to help you stay organized and track your engagement efforts. This system helps you avoid re-engaging with the same posts and measure your Reddit marketing activity.
The Three Interaction States
πΒ Active Opportunities
- What they are: Reddit posts you haven't engaged with yet
- Where to find them: Main feeds (Searchbox, New Opportunities, Mentions)
- Available actions: Reply or Reject
β Β Replied Posts
- What they are: Posts where you've engaged and marked as "replied"
- Where to find them: Archive > Replied Posts
- Purpose: Track your successful engagements and measure activity
π«Β Rejected Posts
- What they are: Posts you've decided not to engage with
- Where to find them: Archive > Rejected Posts
- Purpose: Avoid seeing the same irrelevant opportunities repeatedly

How to Use the Reply Button
When to Mark as "Replied"
After you've actually commented on Reddit:
- Go to the Reddit post and make your helpful comment
- Return to Redreach and click the "Reply" button
- The post moves to your Replied archive
- It won't appear in your active feeds anymore

The "Reply" button doesn't post anything to Reddit for you. It's a tracking tool to mark posts you've already engaged with manually. We do not automatically post on your behalf to Reddit at this stage.
What Happens When You Reply
Immediate effects:
- Post disappears from your active opportunity feeds
- Gets added to Archive > Replied Posts
- Counts toward your engagement metrics in Insights
- Helps Redreach learn your engagement patterns
Long-term benefits:
- Cleaner opportunity feeds (no duplicate suggestions)
- Better engagement tracking and analytics
- Improved AI suggestions based on your reply history
How to Use the Reject Button
When to Reject Posts
Mark posts as rejected when:
- The discussion isn't relevant to your business
- The community culture doesn't welcome business input
- The post is too old or inactive for engagement
- You can't add meaningful value to the conversation
- The tone or content doesn't align with your brand
What Happens When You Reject
Immediate effects:
- Post disappears from your active feeds
- Gets moved to Archive > Rejected Posts
- Won't be suggested again in future opportunities
- Helps improve future opportunity relevance
AI Learning:
- Redreach learns from your rejection patterns
- Future opportunities become more relevant
- Similar posts are less likely to be suggested
- Improves overall feed quality over time

Daily workflow:
- Review new opportunities in your active feeds
- Engage with 2-3 relevant posts on Reddit
- Mark those posts as "replied" in Redreach

Regular Archive Review
Weekly archive review:
- Look at your replied posts to identify successful patterns
