Step 1: Add Your Website
First things first, we need to know about your business:
- Head to your project settings
- Enter your website URL (like redreach.ai)
- Redreach will then automagically identify your target audience and the product or services you are selling to come up with relevant keywords and a fitting company description
- You can optionally modify your company description to help our AI understand your business better and find more relevant conversations
Pro tip: Be specific in your company description. Instead of "we make software," try "we help businesses find customers on Reddit through automated lead discovery."
Step 2: Add Your Competitors
This is where it gets interesting. Adding competitors helps you:
- Track when they get mentioned
- Find conversations where you could offer an alternative
- Learn from their engagement strategies
Add up to 3 main competitors by simply entering their domain.
Note: You can change competitors up to twice per month, so don't stress about getting this perfect right away.
Step 3: Subscribe & that’s it!
- At the last stage you will be presented with our pricing options and once you have chosen your desired plan (we recommend starting with the Growth plan unless you have more needs where the Professional plan makes sense).
- After the successful payment Redreach will go on autopilot and spend between 5-8 minutes crawling thousands of relevant search results for you looking for the most relevant Reddit posts you should engage with. You will be presented with a beautiful loading screen but feel free to leave the site and come back once it’s done. Redreach will notify you via email.

Customize Your Keywords
Redreach automatically pulls keywords from your website, but you can add custom ones too:
- Go to Settings > Keywords
- Review the auto-generated keywords
- Add any specific terms your customers use
- Remove any irrelevant ones

Set Your Notification Preferences
Choose how often you want to receive new opportunities:
- Daily: Perfect for staying on top of fresh conversations
- Weekly: Great for batch processing and less frequent engagement

Troubleshooting
It’s been longer than 10min and I still see the loading screen?
If you have setup a new project but it’s stuck on analysing competitors for longer than usual please refresh your browser. Should you have access to the Redreach dashboard you are all set. If you are still seeing a loading screen or you end back on the subscription onboarding step please read the question below.
I have already paid but the site asks me to pay again?
In very rare cases our system which analysis thousands of datapoints for your might get stuck somewhere along the process. If this happens you might end up on the subscription onboarding step again. First of all, please don’t sweat, we very likely have already successfully received your payment and you do not have to pay again. Simply contact us with the issue and we will help your project get unstuck ASAP :)
I’m trying to pay but site does not allow my payment method?
This is likely due to our payment processor (Paddle) flagging your transaction for security reasons. They've recently increased their fraud detection sensitivity, which unfortunately causes some legitimate payments to be declined.
Quick fixes to try:
- Turn off VPN/Proxy - If you're using a VPN or proxy connection, disconnect it and try again
- Use a different card - Try another payment method if you have one available
The system may have flagged your transaction due to factors like recent card activity, name mismatches, or multiple transactions from different locations. If these steps don't work, the issue should resolve itself after some time, or please contact support for manual assistance.
I can not add my domain or a competitor domain?
Our system automatically validates that websites are reachable before adding them to ensure we can collect accurate data. In 99% of cases this works perfectly, but occasionally some websites have aggressive anti-bot protection, CAPTCHAs, or strict security rules that prevent our system from accessing them.
What you'll see:
- "Website is not reachable" - The site might be down or blocking automated requests
Solution: If this happens with a legitimate website that you know is working, please contact our support team. We can manually verify and whitelist the domain for you, ensuring you can still track and analyze it despite the security restrictions. This is a technical limitation we're constantly working to improve, but manual verification is always available as a backup solution.
